Job Description - Medical Director

Description

The Medical Director plans and directs all aspects of an organization's medical policies, programs and staffing. He or she often works side-by-side with the general director on the corporate / executive level and is the ‘expert’ and leader in all medical perspectives.

Qualifications

A candidate for Medical Director must possess an advanced degree in medicine or pharmacy and have extensive experience in a relevant field. The Medical Director relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Tasks

    • Responsible for strategic clinical relationships with all medical staff
    • Oversees the development of the clinical content in marketing materials
    • Ensures all clinical programs are in compliance
    • Write research publications appropriate to support clinical service offerings
